choir without the boring bits

SOME VOICES started small in 2010, with seven choir members meeting up to perform original arrangements of popular classic songs that range from Bowie to Bjork, from Stevie Wonder to Stevie Nicks, from Folk to Hip Hop, and everything in between - all with a Some Voices twist.

Eight years down the line, more than 800 singers are now part of the exciting non-audition ensemble that performs on some of the biggest stages in London. KOKO, The Southbank Centre, Oval Space, The Coronet, The Rivoli Ballroom and The Troxy have all seen the group attract audiences in their thousands.

Creating unique moments,  memories and experiences for everyone we work with. Music brings us together.

Our Musical Directors

Multi-instrumental session musician & composer
Curtis is Mika’s Musical Director, and has recorded and toured most recently with Paolo Nutini, Natasha Bedingfield & Rae Morris.

He has an annoying but brilliant ability to play any instrument he picks up, and is especially impressive when faced with a Keytar, Prince and a bit of laser lighting

Vocal artist, Composer & choral director
Laura has composed music for TV, Theatre and Live Soundscape Installation working with organisations like BBC, The Southbank Centre, The 02 and many more.

Known for her balletic gestures and movements when conducting, she captivates audiences and choir
members alike when leading a Some Voices performance. Laura’s original, cool and subtly astounding vocal arrangements are part of what makes Some Voices as special as it is.
