Christmas No.1s

Mince pies were in the shops, John Lewis had launched its annual TV cryfest, and your mum wanted to know ‘your plans’…

It was officially Christmas and Some Voices were at York Hall to put the tinsel into the festive season as they presented ‘Christmas No.1s’.

All you wanted for Christmas in one night of music and merriment – Some 350 jolly Voices offered up a perfect soundtrack of Christmas chart toppers by the likes of Queen, Mariah and E17. Our audience sipped on Christmas spirits as they listened to us belt out everyone’s festive favourites. We sat on Santa’s lap & enjoy the elf service as they delivered our cocktails on ice.

There was good cheer, plenty of sparkle & Christmas jumpers aplenty.

350 voices. Live Band. DJ. Dancing and kisses under the mistletoe…

Some Voices

SOME VOICES started small in 2010, with seven chorus members meeting up to perform original arrangements of popular classics that range from Bowie to Bjork, from Stevie Wonder to Stevie Nicks, from Folk to Hip Hop, and everything in between - all with a Some Voices twist.

Eight years down the line, more than 800 singers are now part of the exciting ensemble that performs on some of the biggest stages in London. KOKO, The Southbank Centre, Oval Space, The Coronet, The Rivoli Ballroom and The Troxy have all seen the group attract audiences in their thousands
