Some Voices choir performing at All Points East Festival

Some Voices are taking to the stage at this year’s All Points East Festival in Victoria Park, London. The festival features headliners including Haim, The Strokes, Dermot Kennedy and more.

Before the big acts start, the grounds are open to the public from Sunday 20th to Wednesday 23rd August for a series of free performances - including their resident choir on the bandstand - none other than Some Voices!

Some Voices choir is bringing its legendary vocal arrangements and party vibes to Bristol this September, starting a new choir on Monday evenings at Alma Church in Clifton from 11th September 2023.

The Bristol choir will be led by Jonathan Grosberg, who is Head of Music and Singing at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Some Voices raises over £3,100 for National Youth Arts Trust

In Spring 2023, our Founders and Musical Directors Laura and Curtis selected the National Youth Arts Trust as our chosen charity, in memory of much-loved, long-standing choir member, Martin Meadows-Evans, who sadly passed away in December 2022. This was a charity that meant a lot to Martin and their mission to make performing arts more inclusive and accessible to all really aligns with what we do here at Some Voices.

Some Voices singers feature in Channel 4's The Piano

On Wednesday 15th March 2022, Channel 4 broadcast the final episode of The Piano, featuring the four finalists, Mika, Lang Lang and a group of singers from Some Voices Company Choir performing at the Royal Festival Hall. The choir accompanied finalist Jay Eatwell in his original composition “A Heart That’s Cold” and Mika on his beautiful hit “Happy Ending”.

New St Albans choir starts 16th January

Contemporary choir Some Voices is coming to St Albans, with rehearsals starting in January 2023. The St Albans choir will be led by Rebecca Baxter, who has been leading Some Voices choirs in London since 2016. There are no auditions, no need to read music. Free taster sessions are available.
